This thread will tell you about the specialties of the different races.
Pegasus: Pegasai can fly without using spells.
Unicorn: A Unicorn can use spells much more affectively and can learn new spells ever 2500 power level instead of 3000. They can also use Telekinesis without learning it.
Earth pony: Earth ponies start with a higher power level than the other races.
